my Story
I am a certified Associate coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). I completed the UBC Certification Program in Organizational Coaching, which is accredited with the ICF. I came into coaching after realizing I could benefit from coaching skills during my leadership positions, and out of curiosity stemming from my research in neuroscience which has so many implications for individual and group flourishing. Previous to taking my coaching training, I had never been coached, and was not even aware that I could benefit from being coached. Frankly, I will admit that I was a little skeptical in my ignorance! Through the combination of having been coached by my peers and mentors, and learning and applying the evidence-based techniques as a coach, I can personally attest to the transformative impacts that coaching can have. These include enhanced listening abilities and more skillful responses to emotions, which translate into greater skill in handling personal and work relationships and expanding the realization of one's potential. The self-awareness generated by coaching, and supporting research and practical tips in the brain sciences such as positive psychology, have significantly enhanced my well-being and expanded my own skills and possibilities. I am passionate about sharing those benefits with any of you who are curious and open! I have been repeatedly told by my clients that I have facilitated impactful positive experiences for them and look forward to supporting your own journey to greater flourishing.
